Care Tips:WateringWatering is always an essensial step for your orchids caring.Just a glass of water once a week. Make sure you drain out the water completely after appling the watering.TemperatureThe ideal temperature is between 65 to 85 degree Fahrenheit. The higher temperature is good for its growing. The cooler temperature is good for flowering.LightBright light is required for orchids growing, but avoid direct sunlight.FertilizingPhalaenopsis orchids need to be feed every other watering.Alternate watering with fertilizer solution( use fertilizer at 1/2 strength).RebloomingAfter flowering,cut the stem off above the base. Next time it will flower from the base again.Placing the plants in a warmer place in the day time, and cooler place in the night time. When it gets the temperature difference, it has oppotunity to have spike after 6 to 8 weeks. RepottingWhen most of root grow out of container, it is time to repot the orchids into next larger size conatiner.Usually it is spring time after flowering. |
